Karinn rencontre Cécil, un jeune enfant polyhandicapé qui ne parle pas, ne marche pas… mais qui chante. Pendant une année, elle joue pour lui, puis avec lui. Entre eux, la communication passe uniquement par la musique. Cécil possède une oreille parfaite et chante avec une justesse bouleversante.

Karinn meets Cécil, a young child with multiple disabilities who cannot speak, cannot walk… but who sings. For a year, she plays for him, then with him. Between them, communication passes only through music. Cécil has perfect pitch and sings with moving accuracy.

Karinn begegnet Cécil, einem jungen mehrfachbehinderten Kind, das weder spricht noch geht … aber singt. Ein Jahr lang spielt sie für ihn, dann mit ihm. Zwischen ihnen verläuft die Kommunikation ausschließlich über die Musik. Cécil hat ein perfektes Gehör und singt mit ergreifender Reinheit.

Très vite, une évidence apparaît : aucun outil existant ne lui permet de jouer lui-même avec la musique. Karinn et Christophe imaginent alors un objet pensé pour lui — simple, intuitif, sans écran et sans connaissance musicale, capable de transformer le geste en émotion musicale immédiate.

It quickly becomes clear: no existing tool allows him to play with music himself. Karinn and Christophe imagine an object designed for him — simple, intuitive, screen-free, requiring no musical knowledge, capable of transforming gesture into immediate musical emotion.

Schnell wird klar: Kein vorhandenes Werkzeug erlaubt es ihm, selbst mit Musik zu spielen. Karinn und Christophe entwerfen daraufhin ein für ihn gedachtes Objekt – einfach, intuitiv, ohne Bildschirm und ohne musikalisches Wissen, fähig, die Geste in unmittelbare musikalische Emotion zu verwandeln.

Quatre ans plus tard, le premier prototype est présenté à Cécil. Il joue, sourit et entre instantanément en interaction avec la musique. Ce moment fondateur donnera naissance au maestro puis à Concerti, créée en 2019 pour porter cette vision humaine et inclusive de la musique.

Vier Jahre später wird Cécil der erste Prototyp vorgestellt. Er spielt, lächelt und tritt sofort in Interaktion mit der Musik. Dieser Gründungsmoment lässt den Maestro und dann Concerti entstehen, 2019 gegründet, um diese menschliche und inklusive Vision der Musik zu tragen.

Aujourd'hui, le maestro est utilisé dans les établissements de soin, les écoles, les médiathèques, les familles et partout où la musique peut créer du lien.

Today, the maestro is used in care facilities, schools, libraries, families and everywhere music can create connection.
